Ingame Mogstation Outfit Preview?

I wonder how long it'll take until people start complaining that they can't preview anywhere, that they have to go to an Inn to be able to preview Mog-station items.

They were already complaining in chat during the Live Letter.

I probably won't use this much but I really like the idea. I like that you can try the individual pieces. And the shop isn't actually in-game so you still have to out to the Mogstation for the items. I think it's a good compromise.

Honestly, hearing this I'm not surprised one bit.

Definitely happy they are including this, and I'm happy they took the extra step of letting you not only preview individual pieces in conjunction with pieces you already have but also let you try out dyes. That said, I still don't want any store links or advertisements to appear anywhere else in the game.

because that tiny little Preview window although good, doesn't allow you to do anything but move the camera around the character with basic lighting.

I know it's not much help with what you asked for, but increase the size of the preview window to max (I think it's 200%).
At least it helps somewhat.

What they could have done was add an actual in-game uh, fashion shop kind of thing, where you enter it and its instanced and it lets you try on any mogstation gears so you can move around and see exactly what it looks like, because that tiny little Preview window although good, doesn't allow you to do anything but move the camera around the character with basic lighting.

That sounds way more complicated for testing, and personally I'm happy with the standard preview screen (scaled up as big as it can to fit the screen). All I want is to be able to try bits on and have them apply in the normal "save outfit" mode so I can move from there to the marketboard to try combining it with things.

My main hope is that they will expand the system to include trying on dungeon and raid gear, and possibly everything in the game so I don't need to visit umpteen vendors across the expansions to try on items.
