inb4 people saying that he should stop crying on camera, he's a grown man and should act professional and do his darn job than wasting time acting overly emotional.

i mean it's not really an inb4 if people are esentially already saying that.
that said i don't really see the point of attacking him if he does do that. let the man cry if he wants, i ain't gonna insult a guy for doing so. i just want the damn problem fixed.
Compares to WoW dev’s arrogance, I side with him whether you like it or not
Im pretty sure there's going to be a good amount of people attacking him for it. If THAT ends up being the case if they decide to address the issues like a YT apology video. People are mad (and rightfully so), and many of them gave up on any good faith the devs built long ago. They dont care about them, they only care they fix the issues they implemented and move on.
Relax, I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it happens every time there's a problem. Servers act up? I get it. To many people playing the game and it causes problems? I get it. But this is a problem made from their own hand.
Agreed.
I don’t see a reason in kicking someone while they’re down. The Hrothgar situation aside, surely we can all agree that 6.1 is in fact a major update with huge quality of life changes for the game. He slacked off in the Hrothgar department, but he made major changes elsewhere.
I’m just as upset as anyone else, and I am one of the people who let the Hrothgar situation overshadow the entirety of what’s coming in 6.1, but I believe he will acknowledge the mistake and I’m hoping he’ll fix it sooner rather than later.
Look on the bright side - Hrothgar’s getting media coverage, the popular threads on both the ENG and JPN forum.. This is a priority now.
And a lot of people are going to forgive him if he does. I stand on "just as long as actual work gets done". He can cry all he wants, what I want is for this to get resolved. With professionalism, interest and seriousness.
Though I doubt he'd cry. He usually only sheds tears when he thinks the disappointment is global AND harsh. And while it seems like it is here, with players from all sorts of characters expressing their dissatisfaction to the hairs and solidarity to Hrothgar players, it isn't exactly "game-breaking" like 1.0 or the servers crapping out a few months ago.
I want to be that optimistic, Sherlotta... but then I start wondering "wasn't there much more coverage on the shortcomings and updates to Viera, and they're still kind of in the same boat anyway?". Which just lowers the overall optimism.

I guess it’s subjective. I don’t see much coming out of 6.1. Still haven’t addressed healer problems, content wise it’s just a once a week alli raid and msq since pvp and whatever else got pushed back.Agreed.

pssht at least compared to other MMOs where patch content cycle schedules is just up whatever or whenever the devs decided they feel like releasing them. FFXIV does a good job on delivering it in a consistent pace.
I'm just wondering if he'll even acknowledge it, it would be nice to at least get a "We are working on it" instead of radio silence.
