which is not only absurd but a ridiculously easy fix which is why it's so strange they decided to just... lop them off. it isn't that difficult to just pin them to the top of a hairstyle.I think we will be able to change hair without fantasia, the patch note mention the creation of the hairstyle category ( same category with didnt get from the start), also the fact that there no ear on the hair is because the Dev attached the ear on the head model instead of the hair themself...
but i sound like a broken record at this point.
But how will the poor devs adhere to the strict polygon limit set in ARR/PS3 days while giving us both hair AND ears?

But Denji, grapes!
We all do at this point, let's face it.
We can speculate and theorize. Some of us do know how 3D models for customizable videogame characters are made, and not only have explained it, but also fixed the problem independently. But at the end of the day it still stands that there's a reason behind their decision. Either a lack of some resource, knowledge, priorities, standards... or even the process of how they do these models to begin with. And that's without getting into the "they don't like X race" argument. We'd only know if they actually sit down and explain things properly rather than just say "Oh yeah it's because the way we made the ears makes it awkward" without any further explanation.
So if it truly isn't that difficult, they could tell us more about what's causing the hold up. Good luck getting an answer though, they tend to be rather silent.
Maybe it's because of the model difference or something and that they would had to make them from scrach ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well anyway we get the short end of the stick like always
