New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

I am not sure what exactly is meant by the Japanese patch note notation.
Do you need cash or will the hairdresser cut it for you?
If they cut it for me, I would decline.
I think we should wait for the 6.1 patch notes to be read out.

We're not sure, the patch notes in regards to Hrothgar are confusing... But when Au'Ra, Hrothgar and Viera (male and female) were implemented, the patch notes used similar wording. So we're just confused and wondering if Hrothgar still need to pay real money for their haircut?

Honestly, at this stage, i'll just be happy if i'm able to change between the 8 existing Hrothgar hairstyles on each head. The patch notes made it sound like the things like sideburns and braids are being added to hairstyles we have, so that would pad out the options for each of them too.

For me, the fact that existing hrothgar players still have to pay for fantasias to even have access to these hairstyles is an absolute smack in the face. I was thinking on entertaining of at least getting the Snow hairstyle, but if I have to pay for the Snow hairstyle and the fantasia to change? No thank you. A very anti consumer decision was made in the implementation of these hairstyles, let alone quality. I feel so terrible for those who were promised new hrothgar hairstyles, were handed this drek, and are now being told 'Now pay us for them'- Especially when most are hairstyles that exist in the game for other players to obtain and change to for free at their leisure. Pathetic.

Be sure to warn new players who are interested about playing a hrothgar character about these hairstyles in particular. Because once you go earless, you gotta pay 10 USD before tax to get them back.

They should get true to their ways and make Vieras require to fantasia to swap their hairstyle aswell. /s

Hello friend.
We would like to help you with that, but the English patch notes are very vague.
I think they use the same wording when they added Au'Ra, Female/Male Viera and Hrothgar.
But those weren't in the game prior so the mention of the Aesthetician wasn't a problem.
People are worried that the need for Fantasia to change your hair is still here.
Since this wasn't an option prior and the patch notes only make reference to the character creation, Fantasia and Retainer creation.
