The perma death when I was new just ruined the fun of those fights. So good riddance to them imo. Not so bothered about the other changes either, if they needed to do it so AI can do mechanics fine.
Every day of my sad existence during leveling and mostly when leveling dps. Clearly the best xp for my level 70 dancer was definitely stone vigil. That nice small sliver of xp that was about as much as a fate in coerthas maybe less. At least now I can figure out my rotation with the trusts in a duty I have my whole kit. Time for alliance raids ah Syrcus tower raid I mean. IT IS A ROULETTE AFTER ALL!!! ROULETTE=same thing everyday for months

Wow, you guys complain a lot. It's almost like you look for things to be upset about.
This is so inconsequential.
Adorable creatures with unacceptable features!
Of course, masqueraded behind the illusion that perma-incapacitation mechanics and the sort actually constitute compelling gameplay, despite the simple fact that for those that do actually get incapacitated by it, turns out to be anything but compelling and engaging gameplay. It was a needless punishment.
Perma-death is almost definitely feedback from Leviathan Unreal, which was unpleasant beyond belief to prog. Unreal HW trials should be more tolerable now, which is nice.
In terms of the Extremes, I suspect it's because of the Mentor Roulette. Mentoring a new party through an Extreme with a permadeath mechanic? Absolutely not.

Nobody cares about the death thing.
People are right to be concerned with how old dungeons are handled.
But since all new dungeons bring new and amazing mechanics, we prolly don't have to worry about... Oh. Right :c
I forsee trust-only content In the future, but don't quote me on that.
I am certain that is their aim (I think Yoshi-P mentioned it in a live letter), they want to make the MSQ be more single-player, which is why they're adding the whole trust system in ARR to begin with.
Which in practice changes nothing. No offense.
