Because being knocked out for the rest of the fight because you got hit by Landslide for the first time is an extremely exciting experience.

This. I've been playing this game since it came out and it wasn't good game design then and it isn't good game design now. I'm kind of exhausted from always seeing people trying to gatekeep various aspects of this games various content.

Yeah and on top of that the new player surely learned a lot by lieing down there.

Honestly I really like the change. At least new players can now try to see the whole fight thus learning about its mechanics. They wont just be carried by the rest but can actively participate.
Also how many people really did all these old dungeons recently and truly enjoyed them?

Being trappend in a gaol in Titan and the landslide is targeted in that direction.
And the Gaol gets destroyed too early so you have no chance of dodging it.

And then you get knocked off and just cant participate anymore for no fault of your own other than getting a mechanic you cant dodge (the gaol).

10/10 design, yo.

You might survive it if you hug him and the gods smile upon you, but newer players 100% wont survive that scenario and then they're locked out.

Didn't you know it's actually your fault that other people broke you out of the Gaol too early? Now suffer the consequences of other players and watch them enjoy the rest of the fight for the next 9 minutes.

SE wabt to make ALL content solo. but they cant make good bots. so they make the content so thet legal bots can do it. i talk about the Trust system
