I just want Viera & Hrothgar to get unique racial hairstyles
Wanting to quit over the hrothgar incident is valid- bc everyone has their limit & sees red flags differently.
Not everyone may understand nor do they have to, bc everyone has their own idea of what they enjoy- for some it's when they love their WoL & have waited for the updates only to not get them.
With Hrothgar & Viera being so limited, folks were told they'd be given unique features/ hairs but we haven't gotten that at all or further mention of those things aside from being told they'd get new hairs- but are instead given pre-made hairs that clearly do not fit correctly.

Viera/Hroth weren't designed for hats, I'd much rather have unique viera hairstyles anyways (like frans ponytail & long hairs)
There's no excuse as to why hrothgar still can't change their hair like everyone else
I'd much rather further character customization over an in-game seasonal event or a unique pose

I just don't think it's something that can be expected. They have a block of unique hairstyles like every other race, and now they're starting to get the universal ones.

I know they said that was the plan back in 2019, but my guess is that those plans were part of what they may have had to give up when they decided to make the genders. I saw where this was going once Viera got old hairs, they take 2 years just to release 6-8 shared hairs for normal races ... the chance of them making unique hair for FV AND MV ANND Male Hrothgar AND Female Hrothgar ANNND new faces for both Male and Female Hrothgar seemed ... very, very low to put it simply. And when you know people are gonna complain about not getting reward hairs regardless, it just makes more sense to try to make shared hair work on them.

Honestly, I'm sorry for what I'm about to say, but I think people wanting to quit the game over this are really overreacting. The game's quality has no sign of being worse this expansion, except for this hrothgar hairstyle issue. Viera and hrothgar are getting more hair this expansion, and will keep getting more, maybe all of them by the end of the expansion. Yes, having no ears suck, but it's still more options, and yes, I said options, finally, because you won't need fantasia to change hrothgar hairstyles (finally people will stop saying that). So even if you refuse to use the hairstyles without ears, you will be able to use the hairstyles from the other faces, which is a lot more options than we ever had. It's better even if you refuse to use the new ones. Again, I hope they hear the complaints and make the ears show, eventually. I'm not particluarly happy with the earless hairstyles either. But it's still better than before.

I also think people are overreacting, but I get it. Everyone knows the second one of those Pink-Maid-Dress wearing Hrothgar can put on a 2B wig next week and enjoy it without the ears, it's not going anywhere. The devs don't take things away from players no matter how much other people whine, so much like the Elezen run it will simply become the norm.

But I wouldn't assume anything beyond what the YP said. Sure, he could be making it so that you can wear Face 3's hair on Face 1 (And it would have Face 3's ears with it as they combined the ears with the hair now according to him) and they simply didn't see a need to point that out, but who knows.
