New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

I wanna believe the dev team wouldn't settle for trash quality and that they wanna deliver the best product for us, so the fact that the hrothgar hairstyles weren't showcased on twitter and the patch website really gave me hope that they know they are not presentable in the current state and will change or delay them. I'll have hope until the last minute, so I really wanna see what yoshi-p will say on the patch note reading. I wanna believe.

It really is quite worrying that patch day grows closer and closer and we've gotten nothing but radio silence outside of that one response that informed us about the 'limitations' issue. As some have stated before in this thread, if YoshiP and the dev team really do plan to commit to implementing these hairstyles in their current state, it sets a scary precedent on the quality of any other possible additions going forward. IF they're really content with releasing these in their current state... it will be even harder to undo the damage as it will already have been in the game... and the players can aquire these hairstyles. They can grow accustomed to them (somehow; I know it sounds crazy), and there would be a similar negative reaction to the one we're currently having if they were ever fixed after the fact. It... just sucks. I dont want to think negatively about YoshiP or the people under him, but to say even great people cannot commit errors is... well, not true. The ignorance is what's getting to me.

I am so happy to hear people like you speak up. We might disagree on the topic of Hrothgar, you hating them, me seeing them as cute. But at least we can be respectful and agree that these hairstyles are not up to par with what we would be expecting from this team. Thank you for your contribution!

As I wrote here, race-specific hairstyles should be a feature built alongside other unlockable hairstyles, not as a replacement for them. As for the quality of those hairstyles, if they aren’t ready for release, don’t print them out and show them off as though half-hearted revisions are improvements. Postpone them. I would’ve gladly waited for a female Viera rendition of Battle-ready Bobs where the headband isn’t hastily clipped underneath the hair.

Sadly no. I wish it was. But no statement or rectification was made since. No one would keep this joke going for this long, especially when knowing that their player base is seriously upset about this issue.
