I can give you a good example: The Female Hrothgar thread is 284 pages long (and about 2834 comments) and the mods have not addressed anything, not even a pop in to say "Yeah, we are seeing you and taking your thoughts into consideration!".
All while on a JP thread with less than 50 pages the mods went right in to reassure the players and say that their feedback is taken into account.
That is a bit why is baffling that the people would be upset for us going there, cause they don't hear/they are ignoring us here. So it is natural that we would at least try to get heard.
Now I agree that going there without knowing the language and using google translate more than once could be seen by them as annoying. (a simple like on the original post should do the job IMO.)
But I had this feeling for a long time that the fans that matter for them are the JP fans and we are an easy cash grab. Don't want to feel this way, but Hrothgar is more popular here than there, do you think they would have done the same half assed job to a Lalafell?

They aren't ignoring you. The game got a lot of West specific requests already done

I also think its worthwhile to comment on the official twitter posts about the Hrothgar hairstyles. It never hurts to utilize multiple channels of communication

It‘s kind of frustrating that the English Forum needs to heavily rely on the Japanese Forum because we feel like our concerns don‘t get addressed as much…

So... it's been a few days. No reaction to this on Twitter, nothing at the Lodestone, nothing in the forum (that I am aware of. Should there be any comment from a mod or a dev, I'd appreciate a link).

I've been checking every day on every platform too. Idk this whole thing has frankly really upset me and at this point I just want to feel seen.

I'm too attached to my Hroth to change now, but it is becoming increasingly clear that the FFXIV team hates Hrothgar, and consider Hrothgar players a nuissance for actually holding them to the promises they made (and not accepting a 3 year late rushjob as a delivery of said promises).

For any bone that gets thrown to us because we are the lowest played race in this game? Im upset. I still pay to play this game, after all. We all do. Im to attached to my hrothgar to change him. I did a stint as an Au Ra for awhile and it was not the same. I just wish they put far more effort into this, or at least would acknowledge that we are upset, that they listened to any of this. Sigh.

5 days until the patch notes and Yoshy P Q&A session. And 6 Days until the patch. I am going to go on some hard copium here guys and wait for the in-game models or this issue to be addressed.
If they don't I swear I will put that horrible 2B hairstyle on and bring forth the 8th Umbral calamity!
