Any of you have a tip for a good RPG where you can play an '' evil '' character but that isn't cartoonishly evil?
Pref not a Bioware game already played them to death before, altho I am kinda considering DA:O since I don't think I've played a character like that in Origins before.
Altho I kinda feel like Bioware games tend to fall into that category too much where you either play a goody two-shoes or cartoonishly evil character for the most part.

Normally I play goody two-shoes character I kinda want to do something different without being a moustache twirling character.
I've played Kotor 2 and the Divinity games and Pathfinder Kingmaker before too.

Fallout New Vegas, I guess. The evil options lead to mostly incomplete storylines but they still give you a more organic and believable means of being a genuinely evil character.

Evil playthroughs are viable (even if imperfectly implemented) in Pillars of Eternity, and I'd recommend that game either way. Not too keen on its sequel or its attempt to supplant D20 mechanics, but it's fun. I would agree on what you say about Bioware games. I loved them, but (this may boil down to the D&D alignment system or how they handle it) they weren't good for capturing that kind of nuance in outlooks. In a lot of these games, being 'evil' tends to mean be nasty/petty/cruel for the sake of it, i.e. a focus on behaviours rather than motives or goals... and that isn't usually how I'd play such a character.

Seconding the Fallout New Vegas suggestion. Evil playthrough legit have some pretty interesting out comes. In fact, the Legion path is one of my favorites.

I prefer a Mr. House or dickhead Yes Man playthrough tbh, the Legion has too much cut/unfinished content to be as satisfying.
