Yeah, man I don't think so. Both characters are incredibly unpopular and SE has never had a history of pandering to its audience, so there's approximately a 0% chance of them ever making a return.

I can't even type this out with a straight face. Of course we'll see them again in the future. Lmao.

As much as I like them, it'd feel rather disappointing to me along the lines of the Thancred and Shtola stuff in ShB. I'd like to think the Lord of the Underworld and his friend are busy tidying up the big influx of souls in the Lifestream while waiting for us to join them in their 'well-deserved rest' after 12k years. Now, if some of the neglected sundered Ascians showed up...

References, Echo flashbacks of some sort, or possibly even further time travel are all possible. I think it was Hyth that mentioned the curtain rising with players in new roles as well. But I would hope they've earned a bit of a rest after 12k years.

The issue with the Scions is that with minor exceptions they incur nothing in the way of cost while the opposition is obliterated. Gaius and Fordola are the only antagonists I know of that have survived opposing the WoL.

Lahabrea, Yotsuyu, and Zenos survived encounters with us. We didn't have a hand in Lahabrea's eventual end. He was sucked into the Eye in Thordan's sword.
