Is it possible to report neighbours for harassment?

Hi all,

I recently acquired a house and the neighbours in the mansion next door have loads of wisteria trees clipping over into my property (Where the petals are floating in the air in the middle of my garden)

I'm sure they're well aware of it as they have clipped over the path that's a slope and elsewhere and may be the reason why the former owner moved out because it is a noticeable eyesore. To be quite frank, the Mansion is one of the worst designed I've seen to date. Even people that have visited the house in the past have left comments in their message book mentioning the clipping into the neighbours.

I've tried messaging the FC master a few times now asking them politely if they could adjust their garden so it's not clipping into my property and I've been completely ignored.

Is it possible to report them under harassment and get a GM to remove the offending items from the garden do you think?

Just make an in game report and see what the GM says. Don't think anyone here can really give you the answer you're looking for.

As Ransu said, just give it a shot. Might fall under the part where they hinder your playstyle by bothering your plot.

That's not harassment unless you've had an ingame conversation with them and they've stated they're intentionally doing it to upset you. Reporting it as harssment likely won't work.

It possibly be considered nuisance behavior under the ToS as their furnishing placement is intruding on your plot and disrupting your ability to decorate your own plot as you wish. The GMs may not get involved though since it appears the furnishing anchor is within the boundaries of their plot.

The most you can do is report and wait to see if the GMs convince the other player(s) to move the furnishing since your own attempts to discuss the problem have been ignored.

Those trees are placed within their plot and not clipped beyond the boundary. I doubt your report would achieve much.

Ya that's gonna be a hard sell. They may be doing that on purpose, but the tree itself is within their plot so probably not much the GM can do. That comes down to the developers finding a way for the petals to not do that when its outside of the plot like that which may be difficult to do.

As unfortunate as it is, that is bad game design by the Developers and not harassment by the neighbor.



Your only chance would be if the ones on the public stair way stop you walking down the stairs.



But if they don't block access and you can walk through them; I think it's going to be a case of try and decorate it away or live with it, and keep entering the lotto until you can relocate.

And I say that with the greatest sympathy as someone who had to escape something pretty much like it once. My relocation on that old server moved me into a perfect place. I hope you have similar luck with a better plot as a result.
