They did the same thing when we were the first to post up an Ifrit video. It seems to be their gig. :3

totally disagree with this and agree with taki, not because we're in the same ls but because there's a good chance that most of the people with this cleared would not had mog not posted step by step strategies. if there was even a tad bit more competition or some real gil to be made (and things for it to be used on, for that matter) you would never give up your strategy.

WE GET IT, YOU'RE GOOD. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST, WE GET THAT! post a picture with the chests. it ruins immersion and cuts content short. that dude dragonwhatever that posted a new thread on this matter wouldn't have posted that if he didn't have an equation for success.

i whine a lot in general but in no way am i a dick, nor do i want others to fail simply because i have succeeded. if someone told me, step by step how to beat these dungeons before i even mastered the first 20 minutes i would've been pissed.

you can say that people can choose not to watch but if it's there people will watch/read/listen to it, even if deep down they don't want to and even if that person doesn't, someone else will and they'll hear it somewhere. once you've seen it/heard it, there's no way you'll ignore it.

we have the power to change this. post a picture of you with the chests or you with the achievement, please don't spoil it within the first week. if people are really struggling then i see no problem with it

Agree, and it's pretty much a "Look what I can do!" statement in my opinion. Otherwise, they could just post it on YouTube and even let others search for it if they care to do so. Instead, they go for front-page news. I wonder why..

Oh okay, I stand corrected. Maybe this is why you're here posting your ingame achievements to the world and not BG in this regard. Oh wait, then there's that other thread BG has about Aurum Vale completion. Gotta get in somewhere! - We can't feel like total failures in life!

All your WORLD FIRST, SERVER FIRST self-congratulations amount to are total time spent ingame. You got it first because you and your company got 2 hours of sleep in 3 days, called in/booked time off work, loaded up on caffeine and forced it to happen.

I know this wasn't directly posted at me, but for the record (since we were server first on Besaid), our main WHM didn't log onto the game the entire first day and a half. Most of our LS had school. Two of us went out on Saturday night to drink. On top of that, we all went for 7/7 jobs first before even going in the dungeon.

So despite what you think, not everyone is no lifing for wins. Surprise, surprise: there are skilled players out there like DoW, BG etc. Oh an Da Ra su! :P

And all this hate why? Maybe because you haven't beat the dungeon yet? And even if you did, don't hate on people who enjoy the game for the inner-server competition.

The difference here is, you didn't (that I know of) splatter the boards with spoiler videos and pics as if you hadn't done so many times before just hours after every major patch. I just get sick of seeing "We did it, and we did it first - and look, we've I've masked our my gratuitous self-promotion by offering it up as a shiny video guide that we just know you'll all want and love. Thank me later!" Chrissakes, read the thread title. It says, "Please don't forget we're I'm awesome!"

I have no doubt there are Linkshells out there that are equally as good as the two in question, and why do we not suffer their existence with each new patch?

Yah the internet has single handedly ruined end game for people. I love people posting they are world first, I would just prefer if they didn't post the strategies after 2 days
