Leveling Roulette on my DRG and get Qitana Ravel.
Party is a PLD, WHM and BLM.

The first few pulls were a little slow, but nothing major. I did look at everyone and we're all more than geared for the dungeon so I just observe everyone. BLM is using Ley Lines and AoEing, PLD is using mitigation. No Holy from the WHM, on the large pull of 5+ enemies. Ok, there's the problem but whatever. We get thru the 1st few rooms fine and the WHM does Holy on the pull after the 1st boss but it took a little while. Ok, maybe they were just gauging the group first before doing DPS, you never know with PUGs so I let it go. Now, the WHM prior to this was healing fine but now he's gone the complete opposite direction. During the pull just before the 2nd boss, the Tank ends up dying. The WHM throws up 1 Medica 2 as the adds are now swarming myself and the BLM and the WHM is just Holy Spamming his little heart out. I end up going down due to lack of heals but they were able to kill the few remaining enemies. Then, they blurt out this little gem "Sorry, I can only cast so fast LOL" and that just got me so upset. Holy takes longer to Cast then literally EVERYTHING else in your arsenal, so wtf kind of excuse is that to prevent you from healing? The BLM died to the 2nd boss. WHM rezzed them, BLM dies again and WHM just left them there the rest of the fight. BLM did admit to being bad so I guess I can't really fault the WHM for leaving them dead but that sure didn't make the boss any quicker. Pulls before the last boss are relatively slow again. WHM has dropped Holy for Glare now, on 5+ enemies and I'm just crying internally at this point. We make it thru the pulls without any deaths at least and we get to the final boss. WHM gets a vuln stack to the stack mechanic due to being somewhere he wasn't supposed to be and then he gets targeted for the charge and just dies. Thankfully the boss was at 10% or so when that happened so we killed it and I pretty much just wanted out immediately so left.

The kicker? The WHM was level 90, with the majority of their jobs at the 70-80 range, with SCH and AST at 77 and 73 respectively. At level 76, you have 95% of your toolkit as a WHM so he shouldn't have had any issue playing the job at all but my god. It physically hurt me to see my once favorite job dragged thru the mud by that player.

Sounds like case of baby rage malicious compliance because someone deigned to ask yonder healer to do deeps.

On Discord/Linkshell/FC; "Please do some deeps these pulls are taking foreeeever.

Response; "Reeeeeeee okay I do deeps now! Happy? Der der der her der."

Seriously the heck is with healers and tanks in FF14 land tpking the whole party every time someone hurts their fee fees? Most sadness inducing for everyone else in this situation especially the deeps who likely waited fifteen minutes for that to occur... You are a support class that does damage. Tanks are a support class that does damage. DPS are a damage dealing class that does support. We are not speaking of deciphering the mysteries of the higgs boson here. I do not fricken care how many times someone has experienced demise so long as there is trying. Now stop waiting for Swiftcast and raise people. Do the job you queued as or stop queuing as it, simple.

Causes remembering to occur, watching poor friend on white mage during their first time in the Chrysalis scraping party member after party member off of the floor as white mage until they were oom. Meanwhile in some other reality the mentor Sage spams E. Prognosis and diddles themselves. No wonder Square continues to dumb down these jobs.

No one actually said anything in regards to the WHM's lack of DPS. They just sort of went from Cure spammer to Holy Spammer all on their own, unless they were in a Discord together but who knows. All I know is that the WHM sucked and it was painful to experience.

That was my thinking, they may have been queued together but who knows There is understanding though! White Mage is my main.. it causes much pain and feist when someone plays it like that. Holy > invuln > bene is sooo fricken powerful on big pulls! Also most satisfying to drop one nice big fat misery onto huuuuuge group of enemies. Hopes for better queues for you in the future times fellow White Mage! You are on my datacenter so if I ever see you and am on healer you can bet I will be ripping and tearing.
