What programs are people using to get these awesome images, or are you all coding/animation geniuses or something? So many look amazing!
Those that have no creativity are using gshade , a community fork of Reshade . They use ott shaders and then ridiculous amounts of bokeh effect depth of field and blur everything in the background because they couldn't produce an great shot to include their surrounding creatively if their life depended on it.
The rest of us artistes use the in game /gpose like the pros we are
oh noes my Skiros Tourette's is playing up again
Actually imo it takes alot of skill to use gshade as well. It isn't as simple as putting on a filter and that is that. You have to find the right filter for the location, time of day, feeling, angle and still work with ingame gpose to light up specific areas. I have done both, and I can tell you that I sit as long with only gpose as I do with a shader. Those that have no creativity are using gshade , a community fork of Reshade . this is with only gpose and I think it looks quite alright.
also only gpose
Shaders are just another tool to have fun with. And lets not pretend like photographers dont edit their pics after anyway. Let people have some fun.
Clearly you should let me have the same
EDIT: im also clearly talking about how sooo many gshaders cover up creative angles and object creativity and simply blotch out all but the character with terrible depth of field . If you had maybe taken more of a moment and seen the sarcasm when you know how true it is that many posting of gshade poses are truly hideous.
There are some exceptional gshade posts , but they get drowned out by the tripe that gets posted.

Your sarcasm wasn't really clear, imo. There are simple ways to let someone know what others are using without insulting a big part of the community, sarcasm or not. But whatevs man. Gonna go take some more glamshots in the pretty game.Clearly you should let me have the same

/gpose ("group pose" but it works fine on your own) is the photo mode for FFXIV. When you activate it, the character will repeat their last used skill or emote infinitely and you can pause it or change the direction they are looking, plus if you use a face expression emote it will override the default expression of your last action. And you can play around with camera angles and lighting as well.

Please play around with lighting.
Too many people don't even include a single light in their pics and love posting pics that are to dim and dark to tell what's going on. :B
/gpose also has a number of different filters, particle effects, frames, and the ability to remove other players, NPCs, minions, mounts, and monsters from view.
