Begging for more "Adventurer" appropriate Glamour Gear

Weird segue, but it fits the topic: I want more backpacks. Where do we store our things? I'm equipped to the gills! And most mounts are just placing your model on the model of a dog. I miss stuff like Midgarsomr that had pack materials and sleeping bags.

Give me my damn adventurers pack.

Yeah I'd like more simple adventurer style stuff myself. Preferably without all the extra bags and trinkets and such that make the clothes look uncomfortable and unwieldy. I like the Bozja healer and tank sets a lot (the bronze ones) because it's rugged and looks well worn but also still feels like functional armor, at least imo.

And I say this as someone who loves all the casual street wear

Also I am BEGGING SE to add a simple pair of boots with zero decoration that is gender neutral. Please. The Yuna set boots are my favorite boots hands down because they're just boots. Just plain simple boots. No weird patterns, no fancy bits sticking off them, just plain ol boots. And they're female only. x.x

Was almost going to do my necromancy thing, but you know what- good bump. Here here for adventurers garb. Moreover, make those low level 17/32 sets like Foestriker/Calvary sets open to ALL jobs! Yes, even the goblin slayer armor.

..in fact I'd say every 2.0 low level set like the taberds/chainmail stuff too. Even the simple cuirass.

I don't get all the fuss over the streetwear. It's really very sparse in when it's actually released. Every single piece is crafted from map dungeon drops, which we really don't get that often. Meanwhile, every dungeon and raid that comes out has all one could ask for and more. There are maybe 10 proper sets of modern wear against a couple hundred of all the other varied styles

To each their own. I became a fan of it, as I've spent years wearing nothing but the standard robes and plate / chain in other games.

It's sparse because the release schedule for all-class glamour as a whole is sparse, and every time we get a streetwear glamour that's one less fantasy-themed glamour we can have.

The appeal of all-class glamour – certainly for me – is that it's something you can combine with any type of class-locked gear so it's good to get glamour pieces that are versatile and fit in with the fantasy pieces while creating a new look. For example, being able to mix healer gloves/pants/boots with a shirt that shows them off instead of a robe that hides them.

But I feel like a lot of the modern streetwear pieces (and other things like the shopkeeper apron) aren't right for that sort of use. They only really look right and make sense when mixed with other modern pieces, so if you don't want that look then it seems hard to find a use for them at all.

It also affects what gear is available to dress up NPCs. I think the Firmament really suffered for the relative lack of fantasy civilian outfits and abundance of modern-looking gear.

-Heirloom from Matoya's Relict, it is same Gear like Voeburtite just other colors.
-Neo-Ishgardian Sets, craftable, so no big deal in getting those Parts
-Farlander Sets from Hells' Lid & The Fractal Continuum (Hard)
-Ivalician Sets, only the 360 Item Level Sets and some of the 330 from the Ridorana Lighthouse
-Shire Sets, only a few of them, you get them for Allagan Tomestone of Poetics in Idyllshire
-Crystarium Sets for Allagan Tomestone of Poetics in Eulmore / Crystarium.
-Imperial Gear Sets from Tower of Babil.

Change is generally bad imo, I'd rather just take more options.
It's my biggest issue with censorship in regards to sexualized content, it's never an option it's always forced on you and if you enjoy the content you always end up losing it.
I still think that people aren't entitled to be catered to at all times, if someone doesn't like what a game is they kinda need to grow up and go play something else instead of obsess about it.
But if the devs are gonna do something about it then it's better to add options instead of change or remove things.

Otherwise you're just taking something someone already enjoys that was already there and screw it up for them.
Which I think is overall a terrible norm to establish because it means you can buy a game or mtx based on the visuals and then the devs can just suddenly decide to change or remove it.
I've had this happened a lot of times before and every time I feel scammed, and it's often on my mind now and makes me wary to spend money on stuff.
It's like buying a car because it's red and you want a red car but then suddenly the car seller paints your car blue out of nowhere a year later.

No, but It's complete bullshit and I think people would be totally in the right for getting upset about it.

To each their own, but I feel like the modern clothes are very rare in comparison. I realize they stick out, so it’s more obvious but the options aren’t as vast as people make them out to be. I kinda find it funny too, because people talk about how these are immersion breaking etc, but a vast majority turn a blind eye to, flying cars, teddy bears who throw snowflakes, a flying snowman, eggs, Christmas bears, and much more. It’s just always interesting to me that this is the straw that breaks the camels back for a lot of people.
