some of this is slightly disingenuous... in that... for the most part, while some designs were re-used, there are minor differences in the way the re-used designs either respond to dye or have different details. For the most part they aren't exact 1 to 1 copies.

Sometimes the difference between undyeable metallic details being bronze, gold, or silver is the restricting factor for me not using it as part of a glamour.

Another one for me is the re-used neo-ishgard stuff. the chrondite stuff dyes differently. So there are pieces now where I prefer the neo-ishgard, and other pieces where I prefer the chrondite.

Yeah, I noticed that the Chrondite dyes better than the Neo Ishgardian, so there's at least that...

But with that being said, I'd rather have them re-release previous sets that weren't dyeable in the first place... Like the Warg or the Paghl'tan.

Like, the Luncheon sets were actually re-released for a second time. If they wanted to re-utilize some Sharlayan themed items why not choose the Sharlayan sets from HW, as they are not dyeable yet.

I mean that's fair, but the Ktisis gear is also non-dyeable and the set it is reusing was the same. That would have been a perfect time for SE to fix it.

Also, while I don't mind that the Chrondite dyes differently than Neo-Ishgardian, one of the major and valid complaints people have with gear glam is that they are locked to roles. I would have rather the Chrondite move around instead of being a near carbon copy if we aren't going to have role restrictions on glamor removed.

They rarely do this, but it has been done before. The Siren's Song Sea stuff for example.

However, I'd much rather them do more Replica sets tbh. Just remove all restrictions and have them be glam.
Main 3 sets I'd like to see with dyeable Replica would be Shisui sets, Warg sets, and Pagalthan sets.

Well, the spriggan jacket/hoodie/parka was popular, so it would be nice to have more tops based on it with like a tokyo street wear meets fantasy look. And, increased dye-channels would definitely be welcome. They could totally remove the job requirements for the shadowbringers PVP sets and several pieces of alliance raid gear too. Oh, and like longer versions tunics that wouldn't delete a section of the top or bottom would be a nice way to increase the number of skirt/dress styles. Increasing the variety and patterns of stalkings, pantyhose, leggings, and socks at lv1 would be theoretically easy. Regular sales of the Makai sets would really help by giving greater access to tie several pieces and styles together. There are several crafting and gathering pieces that would be great as job neutral glamours too. And, they definitely need to release some button up shirt designs with multiple variants with ties, vests, body armor, et cetera for professional and casual wear. And, and a wider variety of hair ornaments and other jewelry designs.

In my opinion, all they would need to do is allow ANY glam to be work by ANY class. It would open up so much more of the glam endgame.
