




Sorry to jump back to this Lauront but that's taken from Yoshi's famous presentation about ARR at the Game Developers' Conference in 2013 where he explained about the hard lessons SE had taken with the failure of 1.0 and which guided ARR's development (that was still in advanced beta testing at the time). Players like to use slides from it in an ironic or even mocking way about perceived issues they may have with the game, especially in topics like this one.
Either way, sorry to derail the topic (as if it hadn't already long left the rails anyway!) but I noticed no one responded to your question so I thought I'd try and give some much needed credibility to this thread.![]()


it's one of the dev teams slides about the lessons they "apparantly" learnt from 1.0.
I say apparrently because many would say they should really go back and take another look at them.
Many of the games problems exist becuase they ignore or contradict those "lessons"
