Eh. I logged it, hit fatigue in a day and a half, and realized that this game goes out of its way to block my enjoyment. I hope they can do something to save it, but I just don't think I have the patience to wait 6 more months or a year to find out. I know some troll earlier suggested that people just 'go back to WoW', and I am actually considering it. =/

It looks like Blizzard has done more in their Patch 4.1 than SE has done since release. =/

This is my current problem besides the lack of. I was having a blast and thinking to myself why did I take a break? Then my "rank bonus" kept increasing and my xp gain became smaller and smaller. I would except fatigue a lot more if it replenished a lot faster instead of having to wait a week... It really sucks that I'm forced to stop having fun to level some other class that is boring.

I even tried leveling other classes but the amount of fatigue you replenish must be very minor when doing so.
Not having a visual fatigue bar also doesn't help to let you know where you are at.

edit: Still having fun but fatigue needs to be fixed(hoping soon)

I think this is something the player base needs to focus on more and more. To me, the worst thing about this game isn't the lack of content, and it isn't how dull and bland everything seems to be when I try to force myself to do something in game. It is the fact that barely anything has changed.

Yes, there are some minor fixes in terms of UI and latency issues, but that is something that should be completely expected and FINISHED within 2 months.. at the latest. It has been a long time since the release of this game, and the fact that they are just now doing things that were promised sooo long ago.. I am not impressed.

I think the game has flaws in it's design, and I also believe (and hope) that the design team itself can recognize that. They need to change the class systems, battles systems, market systems, and heavily edit how the player interacts with quests and story line.

there are good things about this game!!! namely, its name! This is an FF title, so I am hoping "being on track", whenever that should happen, is going to mean the game makes me feel like I am in an FF world. Currently it does not do that. Other stuff that makes me feel attached to XIV is the art and style of armor/environment. Even though the armor pieces themselves are sometimes WAY overused, and even other times simply a little too boring or dull, I think that FF online has always had remarkable taste in the way they made items and armor look. Great vision, kept it extremely classy, bravo and thank you for that.

But it is March 2011.. no It's almost April!!! Where the hell are the big changes that everyone was expecting????? I thought the NOVEMBER update was supposed to address this stuff... WHAT WERE YOU GUYS DOING IN THE FIRST 5 MONTHS ???

You can argue that hey... its a new team man, give them some time. You can argue that hey.. natural disaster, give them some time. But eventually, there will not be any time. If summer hits, and this game hasn't made a huge change I really don't think that their declining population growth rate will change either. At least not for the better. More and more people will leave because this game has been neglected by it's own creator. Yet here we all are on the forums, begging them to do SOMETHING.

when will that something come? after 5 more months of UI fixes? give me a break.
