IMVHO you'd be cutting off your nose to spite your face with something like this. Are there bad eggs out there? Sure. However, there's also millions of amazing people out there that you will never meet, communicate with, learn from, have fun with, or benefit from at all, simply because a small number of people were rude or obnoxious to you. You're putting the smack down on all of that, because you don't want to ever see rude language.

Like, if you ran into me, I might message you to talk about your excellent glamour, or your name, or any number of things, and I would never send toxic messages like the example you outlined above.

I am not unique, in fact people like myself are the vast majority. This is the same with the real world out there; blocking the bad out as if it doesn't exist isn't a healthy way to mature and learn about how society on this planet works. You need to process both the good and the bad, so the bad doesn't unnecessarily bend you out of shape.

Which, it is clearly doing here, as you are asking for a social shield based on very few encounters. Compare the number of good or neutral interactions you have with other people to the number of bad interactions, and you will see they are outnumbered, probably 1000:1, or ever more.

If making friends is one of their priorities, they can find ways to make friends even with a tellblocker on. Other people are not owed an ability to send private messages to them.
