Lol ofc I don't, but what am I going to do? I'm not the judge as to deciding on why someone leaves is justified - ofc it sucks and like I said, it's lame when it happens, but thankfully SE has recourse for that: we get new party member(s), they recieve a penalty. I'm ok with that, even if I have to wait 1-3mins for the party to fill back up. I'm not about to force someone to go through an entire dungeon if they don't want to, even if it's simply down to "I hate this dungeon so I wanna leave". They receive consequences, so whatever. You're que'ing into a dungeon with strangers so honestly of course they won't care about your time more than theirs, more often than not.
All I can do is just abide by my own play style - I enjoy the game when I know other people in my party are good and vibing. I don't abandon duties, I try to be courteous and give them heads up on stuff. I've been trying out healer lately and just simply leaving a "hey I'm a new healer pls be gentle" has made my parties 100x more understanding on me being slow. But not everyone enjoys playing that way and that's ok. Some people are more individualistic, some people are not. That's just the way of a MMO

Yeah, of course, nobody is saying there can't be reasons why people need to suddenly leave. I said as much myself, have a system where the more times you abandon a duty the bigger the penalty you get each time and to let it slowly decay. If you only need to leave for important reasons every once in a while you don't get a harsh penalty, but if you're the kind of person who keeps leaving when they don't like their roulette then yeah, you should get a bigger penalty.
Depending on the role who leaves it could be more than 1-3 mins. There's a reason why your dps queues can take longer than 15 mins.
Nobody pointed a gun at them to queue for a ROULETTE.
I'm sorry, but I can't endorse a "playstyle" based on abandoning my party just because I'm a little princess who didn't like their lot. This is a game, sure, but think for a moment on the other people playing with you.

Meh, I think the penalty is ok where it is. If there was an additional penalty I think the only extension I would be okay with is just having the roulette reward be claimed regardless if they completed or abandoned it. Like LittleImp said above, I think anything harsher (even with the suggestion of having the roulette reward poof) would just encourage even worse behavior and at that point if people wanna leave, just let em go and let them waste for their 30 minutes doing whatever else.
The time it refills is just anecdotal ofc, but I don't think I waited for than maybeee like 3-4 mins max but I guess it's just dependent on the DC and the time of day.
And you do you, man. I just take the road of "who cares go next" because at the end of the day, it's out of my control lol. They don't have to care about other people, that's just how it is, unfortunate as it might be for everyone else and is usually the sentiment with most MMOs. If you don't want to endorse that sort of stuff, invite your friends to mitigate the amount of people that could potentially leave.
And like I said, your play style=/=my play style. People play selfish, all you can do is just accept that when it's not a reportable offense.
I don't get it why ppl make such a big deal out of this, usually u get a replacement within seconds and if the spot does not fill right away just ask ur friends/fc/ls for help...
I personally always leave prea immediatly if I get thrown there via roulette, I won't waste ~50 mins on watching vidoes.

Correct, which is why they're also entitled to leave at any time for any reason.
This basically never happens because most people benefit from staying and getting the reward. This problem is largely unique to MSQ roulette, which is going to be phased out in the near future anyway. It's simply not worth levying increased punishments against people who leave duties for legitimate reasons, particularly because leaving is often the right thing to do. Harsher penalties will just incentivize people to try to AFK or sandbag duties even harder if they have something come up IRL.

Correct, but this isn't something that should be endorsed to make. And if the penalty isn't enough to detract them from doing it on a regular basis then it's not detracting enough.
I get the feeling you've never had a tank bail out in AV and you may be only thinking of MSQ/alliance raid quitters which yes, they get filled in pretty fast.
Ok, keep ignoring the part where I say this should be increased the more YOU REPEAT IT, and to LET IT DECAY, so that it doesn't affect people who have legitimate reasons to leave. If for whatever reason you need to quit duties every day for important reasons then maybe you should consider your situation before queueing into duties with other people.

I wasn't even aware that people hated AV that much lol. I know ARR dungeons are the worst but I can't recall a time where I had people leave over getting like AV or Halatali. Like maybe once or twice. But tbh, I get it. Wanted to cry internally when I got Dzemael Darkhold for 3 days straight

In recent times my jobs have been high enough that I don't have to queue for it directly anymore and I usually do my lvling roulettes as a tank, but in the past it was frequent for tanks to leave as soon as they saw it was AV. I can't give numbers, but it was a regular thing.
