Job(s) you don't main for good reasons?

I really don't like how female characters in jobs are forced into wearing the most revealing, feminine version of their job outfits possible. Some tank jobs have great looking armor on a male, but put that exact thing on a female and ugh. So I glamor it even if I have to use a low level set at the moment. Yes, I am actually a female, which is why I chose once again to make my characters female.

For the longest time they were all male because way back, female characters got a lot of grief and unwanted attention mostly due to guys making females and acting like complete whores always wanting something. That actually worked long ago. I got given things for being female a couple times back in like 2002 or so, but I never flirted for them or anything. Those guys though.. wow. They would make a female and act more whorish than any woman I'd ever seen. Even now, most female characters are assumed to be guys. The most sexy looking ones for the most part are. I know a few sexy looking female characters that are actually women but very few in comparison to the guys playing them. Then everyone was on to them, so the opposite happened to female char. They were all assumed to be men and got extra grief. Now it appears fine. Make what you want but give some of us a few sets of armor that don't look like a lady of the night is wearing them, but rather someone that really is capable of muscling down mobs since their physiques cannot be made even as muscular as a normal woman can be, and their frames and so tiny compared to the men. I do like female Roe. They are, as far as I'm concern, more human looking than any other race. The males, no.

The only job I really don't like is Samurai because I cannot understand any of its skill names.

Any healer. I'm far too vindictive to be trusted with the responsibility of keeping others alive. I would just not heal people that intentionally stand in stupid, and there's a good chance I would start using rescue to drag slow tanks toward more mobs.

A huge amount of the armor that is available, especially AF armor seems to be fairly similar between the genders. EW artifact armor is exactly the same for all of the tanks as are most of the artifact armors. I feel like most of the "revealing" armor is just as revealing on males (e.g. WAR) or just have legs showing which are easy enough to glamor over. Honestly, I felt like FF14 probably does this the best out of any MMO (and they recently stated their goal to do even better with it).

Are there specific tank pieces that you feel are vastly different between the male and female version?

Any healer. Very boring at its current state.
There's something dissatisfying to me in WAR and DRK that makes me avoid playing as either as much as possible. I think WAR feels slow, and DRK feels like the opposite of PLD, a selfish tank, on top of being the tank with the most weightless animations.
MCH is another one I don't like. The rotation is simple but still feels clunky, and it's like I'm using pea shooters. DNC is a lot more "braindead" but I actually like it in comparison because of all the utility and synergy with your partner.
I liked how busy SMN was. I HATE the new SMN. It's mind-bogglingly awfully repetitive and probably by far the job I hate the most of them all. Even compared to healers.

In terms of satisfying animations... Because everything feels weightless in the game, only casters feel particularly satisfying to me. Including the bow mages. MNK and PLD have some surprisingly impactful ones too though.

For me, I can never main DRG because Estinien is too chill. Sure we have the skills he has and no less, but can we ride a dragon and commend it? I think not.
Also the direct translation of the job title from Japanese is "Dragon Knight".
I'd main DRG if I'm Alphinaud, be the little DRG side kick.

I only main DRG and BRD, max all DoH/DoL, and dabble in PLD and WHM. I may take PLD and WHM more seriously going forward, but only for FC runs. Tanking and healing open one up to problems too easily for my comfort.

The other DoW/M classes are ignored since they don't really fit my concept of the character.

Well that pally is in ShB now and honestly I don't like a few of the male versions either. The largest example I can think of just now is DRG. How I have to look like a "pretty pretty princess" in that level 50 armor while the males looked more like Estenian, who does not look feminine in it to me. I mean originally, I just wore it that way just to show I'd gotten that far (trial account) but when I was able to not care so much and move on, I glammed it you can bet. And then came another DRG set that I ended up not liking either. Not because it looked feminine but because I just don't like it as much. I did like one of the ones from the first part of EW, and still have my armor glammed with it.

My main problem with female versions in EW female armor is all those sets with these huge oddball looking spike things on either side of the "skirt." Ok the set is.. well it's alright.. but those strange looking things are just yuk.

Ninja because I legit cannot remember the combinations for the Mudras and when I do finally get the right flow of them, ping or lag or whatever else will get me the OG bunny boi and I want to die inside everytime.

MCH/NIN/BRD and somewhat RPR - Because they haven't opened cross-region DC travel yet and thus I cannot get my home region's servers for better ping.
