Wards for FCs, and Instanced upgradable housing for private houses

I know that SE wanted to keep the community/neighbor aspect of housing, but with only so many houses per server it's going to be literally impossible for everyone who wants a house to be able to get a house.

I know it's been asked before but I want to propose it again:

Have the current Wards be for FCs, and then have Instanced Housing for private houses. That way everyone can get a private small that can be upgraded to medium or large if they have the money, and the FCs can keep the neighborhood aspect.

I could deal with that.

So long as I can build a home as to how I want, and even if it's a skyscape or backdrop for a false view, then I am also cool with that.

I don't care for shared fence line, and never have I seen a neighbour in either Kugane, or the Mist when I had houses there, let alone interacted with them.

Same here, I've also hardly seen my neighbors so that aspect seems pretty useless from a personal point of view. I would 100% be fine with losing my personal house in the wards we have right now if it means I can have an instanced house instead. Would make it a lot easier to get a medium or large too, right now I have the gil to buy one but there's simply no houses open.

That's a good point! If we have instanced housing, then the demo timer for the instanced housing should be removed, just like apartments.

Totally agree, current housing system doesn't work
