Guess any healer questions have to be kept very simple and to the point, this is rather irritating. At this point just give healers more damage buffs or w/e so we at least have more things to track while we spam our DPS button >_<;

hey, the one class related question we got in the entire Q&A was about healers, and teh most highly requested one at that!
anotehr finger curls on the monkey's paw as he completely misinterprets it and gives the most disconnected take in almost a decade of this game.

even better, that disregards the part of the question including "-The ultimate coil of bahamut was cleared without healers or dps"

I expected nothing and am still disappointed. Healers are never going to be made better. We're going to be stuck as Diet Pepsis DPS until the game shuts down at this rate.

Sorry for the doomerposting, but I'm just really irritated at this. It's so frustrating how they keep sticking their heads in the sand regarding this.

Ahhh.... if only I knew how to animate. Alliance Raid: everyone else in the alliance is bouncing, jumping, moving around on the boss having a grand ol' time. A WHM in the foreground, looking like a burned out worker, mouth slightly open with drool trickling out, plunking a single finger down on a keyboard. click----click-----click. Next to the WHM is a AST lying on the ground playing Solitaire looking bored out of their skulls, once in a while casting a spell, not really worried if it's the right one or not. SCH and SGE near the back wall arguing over complex scientific formulas which are being carved into the wall the the SGE's lasers. The SCH fairy passed out on the floor surrounded by a few wine bottles and being ignored by everyone.

Maybe then the devs would noticed healers.

Wish I was in the runs you folks were complaining about being bored in.

Dungeons, constantly healing outside boss fights. Tanks not using mitigation. DPS get hitting by random trash due to unwilling to move (BLM), unable to move (DRG animation lock), or the worse offender WANTING to get hit (SAM for Kenki).

Alliance Raids outside CT or Void Ark? Always some folks either first timers or "lagging" (usually in Nier raids) and having to keep them up along with the tank, but still at least have a bit of time to DPS.

Trials? Hit and miss. Later trials, especially Titania and Hydaelyn? Healing my ass off with people taking splash damage.

Normal Raids? Usually OK, except P3. I ask for a 10 second wait to get a drink because I know even as AST I'm going to go ballastic healing people from all the 'avoidable' damage they just ignore and tanks going down harder than DRK's in high end dungeons once they're OOM and no more TBN's.

I guess I just got crap luck compared to the rest of the forum
