What you guys really don't understand, is they just aren't going to rework healers. They've stated that the Healers being what they are is totally intended. They are actively wanting the role to be this way; it's not about being unrealistic, this is 6 years of being completely ignored, dropping an information bomb on us in the Shadowbringers Live Letter, SKIPPING THE SLIDE, then when called out on it, totally refuted it and just moved on without explaining anything.

People kept goal post moving, and here we are AGAIN, hoping for a rework that ISNT going to come. It just won't, it is all working as intended. Hence why, they've told us, "Many other jobs exist in the game, if a particular job or role is not to your liking, there a plenty other in the game that might peak your interest."

So me saying, play another role, is just repeating information they have given us in a official capacity to our questions and criticism of Healers.

I'm SO sorry that all of you think that if you hold out hope, it will get better, but the fact that due to the player surge, and White Mage being the most popular healer job by far, means they aren't going to change anything; why would they put that much time and effort into something that is working for them? The fact is they don't have to care about the healer community, as there are plenty of other extremely new healers in the backround waiting to fill our shoes. So let them, as the Veteran healer community, it is explicitly not our job to maintain the skill level and overall healthiness of the role, it's theirs, and they've stated it's working as intended.

I agree with you. It's just more fun posting ideas that will never come to fruition than actually play healers currently, especially WHM.

I agree. It's weird, but even when I was a kid, I'd spend hours in a notebook reconcepting games I liked with my own takes on them. It's what got me into game design.
