    Hard no. I get overwhelmed with one new ability every few levels, let alone everything dropped on me at once.

    It'd be a better system to allow high level players to use their full kits when they're synced with lower potencies. Though I think in the case of Ultimates, it should just be the skills up until the level of that job and none of the later ones.

    Even then, I'm not really for that idea either. It's just a better idea than yours.

    ...Why? Level 50 in this current time means you're still a baby. Go adapt more on your rotation

    Wouldn't the complaint then be that it feels bad to build up your resource slowly and you should have full resource growth from the start? Same argument can be said for charges, it ruins the flow having less charges, give us them all.

    Plus, getting everything at 50 and barely anything after would just feel bad. You wouldn't have a sense of character growth and progression as you level, it would just be a step towards, yay, I can finally grow my gauge quicker rather than, I need to level and look forward to being able to use Ogi Namikiri, staying on the SAM theme here.

    Rather than having something to look forward to, levelling would just be a slog, a chore you had to do, but by giving mini incentives along the way, once you hit them, you now have a chance to play with a new tool before you get the next one.

    Whilst it would be cool as hell , it would destroy the sprout experience in ARR MSQ dungeons


    A synced down WAR could bloodwhett self heal to the end of the dungeon whilst smashing overpower,tempest,cyclones to the army of adds its pulling , whilst a synced WMH could holy stun them all, assize, misery . A synced down BLM could glossy/high fire2/flare spam with 2x triplecasts and the poor ol lvl 15 lancer would just have to tag along and watch the show as they traversed through Sastasha doing nothing at all because the new way roulettes go is nothing but a zerg fest because we are in ARR dungeons with al our kits ( regardless of the potency sync down)


    What if the at lvl 41 tank is too slow for the synced down 90s that can self heal/super aoe combo adds with their synced down end game traits and skills would they get kicked out of the stone vigil run??

    Too many unknowns and a good few most likely's , if we got full kit usage on any sync down duty

    How is it any different to the dungeon experience in ShB, SB, HW or even ARR ?

    Especially when a lvl 50 quest has as much flesh now as it had back then, in most cases.

    If anything think at the very least we should get all skills up to lv30 from the get go, no where near enough skills to overwhelm but should help with early dull combat.

    Role abilities already are, but doing this would be a mistake and give players syncing down a massive advantage. Players synced down would be at max item level with level 90 spells and abilities, what would stop them from just kicking sprouts or people levelling alternate jobs to get someone filling in who could completely trivialize the content and clear in half the time?

    I totally agree. I'm almost at level 50 and have maybe 25% of my abilities and traits unlocked. I'd like to have them all unlocked so I can work on my spell rotation starting now, and only receive higher levels of already acquired spells up to max level. One of my minor complaints about this game is how much stuff is seemingly arbitrarily locked and gated. A few quests here and there for important spells are fine.
