Can we not shame people who don't like the MSQ?

I must say that I've almost never seen that kind of rhetoric directed against the MSQ in FF14. Most of the time it's just something benign like "the story is so boring does it ever get good ", and someone else chimes in and says "yeah I'm just skipping all the cutscenes", and that's enough fuse to light up the fireworks.

Regarding your edit though, if you're talking about that one particular streamer (or multiple) then yeah, they kinda deserve the eye rolls.

If you're skipping the cutscenes then why do you need to have an opinion on the MSQ tho.
You're not even engaging with the MSQ so having an opinion on it will obviously be met with negative reactions.

Skipping cutscenes is a symptom of a player not finding the MSQ, or part of it, interesting enough to bother. Can also has something to do with how passive MSQ has become, we invest more time watching than doing. I never skipped anything relate to MSQ, or even secondary quest, but I totally get if someone do.

Anyway, someone saying "MSQ bad" is their opinion and not going to reduce my enjoyment from it, even if I wish FFXIV team change a few things about it. If someone is particulary annoying about that ignore/block always works!
