It has been awhile since I've even touched it, but I thought it was fun enough. I've heard Grim Dawn is pretty decent. Diablo-esque games just don't keep my attention for very long. They are still fun for me when done right (I think Lost Ark falls flat in that regard) but mostly in small doses.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

In that case YMMV. I love those types of games and GD has a lot to do if you enjoy the fighting system. (reputation system that unlocks super bosses, a randomized dungeon where you need to craft a one time use key to enter, secret areas with alters that award you different things if you beat the bosses, super armor where you can only get the recipe by completing a secret quest on the hardest difficulty, ect.) I will gladly shill for that game since I dropped over 100 hours on it throughout a year or so. I always find myself coming back to it.

I didn't log in today because I was pondering actually trying Lost Ark but then really Isometric games ain't really my thing so I played Toram Online instead, typical korean anime styled mobile port a bit solid then most. One thing that stuck out to me was the character creation it made me jealous how they did hair options in that game lol.

So ... Lost Ark is mostly an aRPG with some PvE/PvP flavors ...

I played for about an hour. The storyline for Diablo 3 was more engaging. Heck, even Blade & Soul has a better storyline. I can see where many players will enjoy it. I had a great time with Diablo 3 and other isometric single-player games. I'm not sure the Deus ex Marysue is to my liking, though.

It doesn't feel much like an MMORPG. I may come back to it later and try again.

Deus ex mary sue is why ive been focusing ess on 14's story as of late. Too many characters recently are littered with that archetype.

If you ignore all the sandbox elements it has and pvp, then sure, there's only dungeons and raids.
It's like saying BDO only has pvp and nothing else.

It sounds like those people who say FFXIV only has 1h a week of reclears to do and nothing else in it.

I understand that this thread is "bait" but I did notice that not a single person who for some reason (although, I did make 2-3 decent acquaintances over the years) decided to add me to their friend list is ever online.

I believe a lot of people simply have had enough of the same content cycle for almost a decade. Not to mention that there's nothing to do in this game at the moment, especially for those who can't be bothered to deal with Party Finder-folk. The Lost Ark barely has anything to do with players quitting, in my opinion.

As for me, I recently completed all achievements in Nier, which I think is a fairly overrated game, and (re)playing some PS1 titles in RetroArch ― the VHSPro shader makes games look nostalgically amazing. Hehehe.
Currently, I'm also playing, or rather "reading" The Silver Case. The sprite work is quite subpar, in my opinion, but I'm really enjoying the general aesthetics, "story" and the "unfiltered" language in this VN.

New vidya hardly pique my interest these days, so to speak. I'm actually boycotting all post 00s western, so to say, media.
But I think I'll give Elden Ring a try when it's on sale. Even though I'm quite tired of FromSoftware's generic "Souls" formula, and it really turns me off that they hired some westerner jabroni to write a "scenario" for this game.

45 minutes total playtime and at least 30 of that was in character creator. Once the actual game play started, I realized that it was just BDO and everything I hated about BDO was present. Uninstalled. FFXIV needs competition for innovation, but Lost Ark ain't it.
