Education shapes a person's values. Different educations shape persons differently. Educations in different countries is different.

You mean education or cultural norms/experiences? I'm not sure how education defines values..... in fact, I would think that your values shape what your educational aspirations might be...(Example - I lived through the Enron mess happening in my backyard - I went into the financial sector (CPA) with the idea that ethics needed to be restored)- and yes, if you had to Google Enron, you probably think I'm old... maybe I am.

It's not about "education". Taking mathematics in school versus geography isn't going to change what kind of human being you are. Going to post-secondary for a medical degree isn't going to make you a better or worse person than someone who went to trade school. If you're going to imply that you meant to say upbringing and personal experiences, then say that. But saying education is you making a statement that people who differ from your opinions are lacking in intelligence.

Just based on the few dungeons I've done, I anticipated this was probably going to be an issue going forward. My WoW instincts are to skip cutscenes or face some sort of negative consequence for being "selfish". My recently acquired FFXIV instincts say otherwise.

And tell me, are your little jabs making you a "decent human being"? Are your attempts to instigate making you a "decent human being"? We often don't see our own faults and are incapable of viewing ourselves in a negative light. But I can tell you, if someone were to talk to you the way you are talking to other people, you wouldn't react well.

Also, not all Americans are rude, as you want to bring up the US. And not everyone you disagree with is from the US. You even bringing that up tells me a lot about you.

Edit: Also, every single person, to this point, that I have seen say anything with the phrase "decent human being", are always the most condescending, passive-aggressive, Better Than Thou people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with on this forum.

It's a lot easier to get away with bullying as long as you're doing it under the illusion of 'standing up to bad people'. The problem is that this creates a perpetual need to find ways to depict the people you'd like to target as 'bad', so you'll frequently see opportunists making moral mountains out of molehills, as with this thread. People are legitimately trying to argue that pulling a boss in a video game at the wrong time somehow precludes you from being a 'decent human being'.
