Can we get a penalty for healers and tanks leaving Castrum?

Yeah, I know it is not a common occurence in the Internet, but I believe we would have much healthier social interactions through it if everybody were able to accept that they are wrong when they are shown to be wrong. I hope I am not wrong in this xDDD

This, I just got done with 4 penalties in a row to avoid castrum, until they equalize xp I’ll keep eating penalties an catch up on shows or play other games until I get prae. The tanks/healers I group with on my dps do the same thing, why waste time at castrum for such a pathetic amount of xp.

I have a very simple question for you or anyone who believe it is fine to annoy other players once and again by trying to fish the dungeon you prefer on the roulettes:

Do you think that manipulating a feature of Final Fantasy XIV so that it does not function as intended, in order to obtain personal gain should be a punishable offense?

Why are you running msq roulette when you can get the same rewards from running 2 dungeons. And the person that said they took a 2 hour penalty cuz they wanted the 1 hour dungeon?????

To play devil's advocate, the leave duty is also a feature of this game. Unless I'm missing something, there is no "requirement" on when you can and can't use it, but if there is, I would appreciate a link so I could review.

not that I blame you ofc, it's stupid that SE decides to create a badly designed system and never fix it. The fact that people have more incentive to continuously eat penalties rather than run Castrum is just sad really

I run Castrum, but I also don't care about an exp difference. I'm usually in Bozja anyways lol

Castrum would be a lot more bearable if they would take away all of those unnecessary aerial shots of the dungeon. It's not even about the EXP difference for me. It's about walking a few steps forward and then seeing a useless cutscene. I think if they cut out all of those then the time would be more equal to the EXP you receive.

Close. Looking at their overall pattern of posts on this topic today, they took a 2 hour penalty because they wanted to earn a ton of exp while afk from the game. Do we need more proof that this is abuse? Delete MSQ roulette, make these dungeons solo duties, end the abuse.

Oh yes this is abuse! A GM can go back in a players logs and see if this is a reoccurring thing each day on a player's account or if it's occasional happenstance. It's disrupting others ability to play the game as intended. I've seen it cause wipes twice this week. Players thinking they're in a "Full Party" but the tank decides to ditch. If this isn't against ToS, it damn well should be. It's happening more and more frequently these days and SE needs to look into fixing this problem before it gets worse. Yet another loophole in the system where certain players try to weasel their way through at the cost to others. The lockout timer isn't enough. Please fix it!
