Are FF14 players more feminine

The addition of Midlander stubble helped a lot, though I've long since felt as if the game focuses a bit too much on feminine and androgynous aesthetics in a way that the other Final Fantasy games did not. I'd love to be able to create and play a classically handsome, tall guy like Snow, Gladio or Basch but at the moment that simply isn't possible.

Which is a shame, since as a gay guy who is fond of masculinity I'm not exactly eager to obsess over feminine or androgynous aesthetics. It doesn't do anything for me.

New glamour is usually a mixed bag. Some of it works for what I like, some of it doesn't - which I'm fine with. When it comes to hairstyles, however...well, most of the ones I use are from the days of ARR. I'd like more normal looking short hairstyles that are designed with male characters in mind first and foremost.

Male characters in this game just look kind of dumb, ugly, or generic. I typically will play both, since I do like the dynamic that a male character can have. Generally, I love putting them in heavy or 'cool' armors, and I also like them to be handsome, or good looking as well - western beauty standards. This game just doesn't have very cool armor, and the majority of hairstyles on males look pretty awful, or just don't bring out the look I want to go for. Also, yeah, tall. Midlanders are too short. Still, midlanders are the best we have currently.

I leveled paladin to 90 just because of the AF. Admit it, that armor is very cool. It even has a lance rest!

This, coupled with the TOS already in place, makes the game very ... difficult to confront players in even if you have good reason to confront them. Passive-aggressiveness wins the day, not the typical "bro" behavior of just spilling your guts, sleeping on it, and being fine with each other next day.

We could also use a little social competition in the game. The traditional answer to this is a solid PVP system, but ours is... very antisocial; queued PVP padded by people that don't even care about PVP beyond their daily roulettes. Aside from our lacking PVP, I can't even think of a social competitive scene in this game outside of maybe the world first race or possibly the dreaded Logs Rankings that aren't even part of the game. What, Verminion's leaderboard? Fashion report? I'm genuinely drawing a blank and coming up with nonsense.

Well, there's Feast, which is not in season anymore; and then there's FFLogs. So it's either just hardcore small scale PvP or Savage PvE (not a lot of people even bother speedrunning Ultimates).

Feast was honestly fun, but the community being so small makes it difficult to disengage from any drama. God knows there was so much drama in S20.

Drama is a feature of PVP, actually. It just needs to be the right kind of drama: drama that fuels more PVP.

True, but not when the drama is people manipulating rankings, wintrading to get someone who "deserves" to get rank 1 onto rank 1, or witchhunting innocent players that have never boosted people with DMs taken out of context. Sadly this type of drama became more prevalent towards the end of the season. The salty kind of drama - going into Paissa @ing someone after a match and telling them to not be a terrorist - that is fun.

Well, I sure haven't. Any time I point out that someones "playstyle" is a detriment to the combined effort of the party, they jump down my throat, usually with insults. Only reason they might get passive aggressive is if they have their friend at their back for that good old entertainment, but even then they usually prefer to gang up on the voice of reason, especially when they realize it's no fun on someone who can give as good as they get (yeah, pretty counter-intuitive that). Regardless, the rest of the party would rather not interact in any way and get the duty done (I'd say "as quicly as possible", but with the kind of people I deal with on a daily basis, it most certainly is not a factor).

Then you can take the high road or leave. Or waste time arguing if you're into that, i guess.

And use regular coconut milk, not light, otherwise the sauce might come out too watery.

I did something pretty similar to this, but I used a totally different vegetable profile since my husband has the palette of a toddler and won't eat broccoli or carrots. I used onion and green peppers in addition to the red peppers, instead.

I mean heck they even gave male characters dresses and remove gender requirements on other feminine stuff, I don't know any other game that does that so much. Yet people are still not satisfied and want even more of that...
