Do the last quest without a tank + healer for any jobs. Or even the dungeons without changing. Then come back to usThats what i didnt like, u can change class/job to do the fights... they should keep it only for that job it adds difficulty, i did the bard fight with the ixali and wolves as bard with 3 more bards, u had to make an strategy to be able to kill em, then i did the same fight with a few friends so they changed classes and the fight was really easy, dont dumb down those kind of fight.

That. I'd love to see someone actually completing the BLM quest in an all BLM party.
You'd have to kill the boss and all the adds that keep respawning before they kill you, surviving only on necrogenesis, second wind, featherfoot and sanguine rite, considering they need like 3 well placed ancient magic hits to wipe an entire party even with healer and tank.
Those quests were made with class changing in mind.

To be fair I think these quests are perfect right now, they require some form of teamwork and are all completely able to be done within a 2 week span. The Dungeons and the Darklight Gear off the bosses in the new Dungeons will be far harder to complete and attain all pieces. This is a very good patch that should provide a good 1-1.5 months of solid actual content for everyone in a variety of means.

Finished the final WHM quest with 6 WHM. No tank! Was fun though, I'm very happy with the way the quests were set up. Will help keep dungeons alive even after new ones came out. Haven't seen that many people outside DH in a long time, was pretty cool. This patch added lots of content but what people aren't noticing yet is that it put things in place to make the content we already had worth doing again. I,for one, will be doing some Toto-Rak runs soon as I get out of hell(work). 250 seals per item? Yes please!

I think it's also worth noting that these quests had me going to some places that I had never been to before. Not sure if they were added in this patch, but it was cool to see some parts of these zones that I had actually never wandered into (for example the large tree at the end of the WHM story, that area was very nice).

Yoshida said in interview he didn't want AF to be really hard to get anyway, there will be plenty of future gear that will require multiple kills in dungeon, I duno what you worried about.
Next patch we getting AF weapons I think which may drop from Garuda so sit down and ....
Getting the WHM boots was interesting, didn't realise how you get past the Guardians of the Grove until a friend told me.
I think the AF seems about right; not everyone plays in massive LS; some people will never complete the sets because of the high level dungeons some are in (Dzemael and so on). It's structured so that almost anyone can get SOME of the set but you need to put more work in to get it all. With a small group, some of the quests are pretty tough (the BRD one with the Ixal and wolves was a lot harder than expected; will have to bring a WHM/CNJ next time for it).
On a side note, it's funny seeing how many NMs are claimed now...

It was nice meeting up with randoms and going through the quests together too. These last couple of days FFXIV has seemed more MMO-ey than ever.
