Alliance Raids and players not waiting for Cutscene Watchers

Edit: The only current way I can see SE forcing people to wait for alliance raids is ... tada ... the same fix for MSQ roulette ! Yikes. Better double up that exp then.

Not like people get much out of the ct raids at all anyways fightwise? What a good example, the most boring raid of them all.
Other raids do exist and you only get to experience something for the first time once.

People be like:
Has no time
Does alliance roulette, which can be the longest after msq
Gets something else than ct for once in a month
Surprised pikachu

If i dont have time, i run the 3 shortest roulettes, might be a me thing tho.

Maybe ask to every sprout if we should only auto-attack bosses so they get the fully fight and all mechanics.

I think the only solution is to add a system where cutscenes are unskippable unless the entire party auto or manually skips. Most people seem to only watch a cutscene once. Its sad we even have to have a discussion about just being a decent human being to others.

I forget what game it is, maybe SWTOR since it has a lot of narratively driven party dungeons and stuff, but this wouldn't be a brand-new concept. Vote-skipping is a feature in plenty of games with multiplayer.

Chosing to do roulettes which you have no time for is not anybody elses problem but yours.

IDK what the value of posting on an alt is. I've only had positive experiences with people that recognize me from the forums.

If it were really bad, you bet they'd probably get a nastygram from a GM a while later, though.

I mean, I post on an alt. And the guy from the cringe thread is a perfect example as to why. He posted something controversial on his main, and his character got posted on twitter. He was being stalked in game, his FC was being harassed. All because he said something some people didn't like. And because I am accused of "wrong think" a lot, I'd rather not deal with it.

On top of that, one guy tracked me from the forums, to a hunt discord, to the game just to harass me.

Honestly its 1-2 extra minutes, so i really dont understand why its such a big deal to wait. If someone wants it over that quickly, says to me they dont enjoy the content. As i said my Personal opinion is that if you despise it that much, then dont que the content. You can twist what i put out of context if you want, but that doesnt make it the point i was making. The point is that 1-2 extra minutes doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

There’s already a thread crapping on getting CT all the time. I think it’s pretty clear people don’t enjoy some of the content in this game. Before you say “don’t queue for it then”, the experience bonus of a roulette. As long as people are leveling, they may suck it up and do content they don’t necessarily enjoy.

Now something I’ll repeat from earlier in this thread but I’ll word it slightly different. I’ll wait if you ask nicely. Don’t demand of me. It’s rude and I’ll show you and your cutscene the same respect you gave me. Don’t demand for others. The person in cutscene may not care one way or the other. But this community likes to get offended for others. If no one says anything, or makes a demand of me, I’ll pull without thinking about it. More so when demanded. You get what you give

I mean, you get compensation for a reason. Why get one if you don't... y'know... compromise? In-game people pretty much always wait, so this is a non-issue.

That compensation is solely to fill the content. Nothing more. You think people would fill the now mandatory crystal tower raids if there was no incentive to do so? Take away the “compensation” and watch how long your queues become
