I guess this is more of a hot take on gaming in general. I don't understand the overconsumption of new games. Buying the newest game every month and hyping it up only for everyone to forget it when the next thing comes out. Or buying packet deals and games on sale at a higher rate than you have time to complete them, just to have them in your library. I wonder if people get satisfaction from the act of hoarding or if they are easily influenced by their favourite streamers.

I got years of entertainment from the handful of games I've bought in the past. Even better, I've gotten years more entertainment from the Mog Store cosmetics I've bought compared to the new throwaway games people pay a fivefold price for. It's amusing there is so much pushback for paid cosmetics but people flock to spend their money on the next thing they know will be dead on arrival or soon thereafter.
