You're still entirely ignoring the existence of uncapped tomestone gear, which will be Astronomy in patch 6.2. Why would players spend gil on crafted gear, when they can just run a bunch of dungeons for the easily augmented i600 Astronomy gear? Not to mention the few i610 pieces they could get from the new normal raid, unless you intend to keep that at i600 too?

Honestly, it'd have been better if you had simply copy pasted most of Xenos' ideas, because some of those sound better to me:
-Savage coffers allowing players to choose between a savage piece, or a piece of augmented tomestone gear
-The final turn dropping a twine and a coating
-Alliance raid gear either dropping at savage raid iLvl, or being upgradable to savage raid iLvl
Increasing tomestone gain on top of the above list would probably be overkill, as the coffer idea should already alleviate the amount of tomestones you'd end up needing anyway.

In comparison, your solutions completely focus on increasing tomestone gain, while almost completely ignoring the pace of obtaining twines/coatings. Your only solution to that is some convoluted sytems of turning books into books into books and then being able to buy coatings or twines. A better system would just be buying coatings/twines at a higher amount of books.

With all the above in mind, and BiS ends up becoming faster to obtain, would there even be a point to making it stay relevant in the new tier? Because you'd be replacing things very quickly anyway.
