PvP has been a very popular roulette for the average FF player. It gives a lot XP and is generally a very fun mode to get into casuals and hardcore players alike. Not only are the queue times quick regardless of what job used to queue but also having the ability to change jobs within the mode and still receive a good chunk of XP on the job originally queued as. A lot of people has come to love the PvP roulette. Understandably, there are those that go into the mode and refuse to participate in the fight and AFK somewhere secluded. Usually players are able to see it quickly and take immediate action to kick them. This has been the method to kick out AFKers and is admittedly very inconvenient when you're running for your life from an army of Machinists. As of recent, however, I've noticed that there's an automatic kick out for for inactivity for 2 minutes. Only a mere 2 minutes. It's understandable that AFKers or whatever are unwanted entities in the PvP mode but what is outright unforgivable is kicking out those who remain inactive for only 2 MINUTES AND GIVING THEM A 30 MINUTE PENALTY! There are various reasons why people would be gone for 2 QUICK MINUTES but usually come back to the mode to participate. It would be understandable if AFKers are kicked out automatically after 5 minutes but 2 MINUTES IS TOO DAMN SHORT. This penalty has no value and only wastes the time of those who only have a limited amount of play time to spend in one of their most beloved comfort games. It would also be reasonable if the 2 minute penalty was just an automatic kick out without the 30 minute penalty but the current penalty only serves to frustrate those that had the misfortune of being distracted for ONLY 2 MINUTES and coming back to realize they've been kicked out of PvP and slapped with a 30 minute roulette penalty. This implementation of punishment is TOO AGGRESSIVE AND DOES NOT SOLVE THE DAMN PROBLEM OF PVP AFKERS. Please soften the penalty to the degree of what I suggested because average players like me do not have much time to spend on this game due to important priorities. This penalty is a harmful example of a solution that not only does not solve a problem but will become a problem in itself and make the situation much, much worse.
