Well you say that but just this savage tier we had the cost of the tome weapon reduced down to 500. Clearly they are capable of adjusting tome prices.

This post is needlessly hostile. The reason people want cheaper tome stuff is so they can reasonably gear up more than one job. I hope I dont need to explain to you that there are more jobs now than there were in previous expansions.

No I mean if there was less of it if all tome costs were reduced, that would only take away from the least interesting part of a savage tier.

There are more jobs to level, but there aren't any extra sets to farm for them.

More weapons of course, but they already reduced weapon cost.

What if you think that sage is a really cool job and you kinda want to try it out for savage but you've been a melee main. People dont always just stay on one role and with being able to have every job leveled on one character that seems to be encouraged even. Yet gearing sets back people who want to do exactly that. Melee is especially restrictive there with 3 different gear sets.
