The thing is we don’t even bring it up as a problem to anyone. We don’t mention it later on and try to do something about Uldah then and there. It’s all silence for the city states. Wouldn’t be the first time the wol did something pretty shitty though, just look at drk quests lol

An adventurer fresh from the guild like the WoL would be screaming at the clouds at that point in the story. It's not as if it isn't seen as messed up either, no one is under the impression that the giants were treated fairly or what have you. You were a much more silent hero back then too and in my opinion you have plenty of opportunity to roleplay your disapproval of Ul'dah or however you wanna word it.

Especially by choosing not to join the Immortal Flames, that's all internal monologue for you though.

Ultimately the WoL doesn't side with any monetarists or anything anyhow (I'm trying not to spoil but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.), it gives me the sense that we're more the "person who gets sh*t done" type of character instead of wasting our time on pleading to deaf ears.

The only place I feel in need a total revamp for the sake of moving forward is Grinidia.


Limsa progresses peace with Kobold and Sahagin. Ul'dah offers aid to Ala Mhigo post-war. Ishgard steadily progress toward a better future. Ala Mhigo makes peace with their past.

Grinidia, meanwhile, still stuck being a subject of Elemental's whim. It means they cannot have a complete peace with the Ixal cuz the Elemental hates this tribe (the only reason why Ixal can come back and invade is that Elemental has get weakened). Elemental also "kidnaps" children to make them Padji that have to serve as their interceptor for life. What if Grinidia wants to do something to advance their civilization, but the Elemental is like "heck no?" Elemental also shows that they are extremely selfish and refuse to work with their subjects if they are in extremely stress, which requires some babysitting.



I feel like Elemental should gradually vanish and let the Grinidia decides their fate.

actually would like to fake my own characters death and start fresh on a different part of world, or fall through into a different alternate universe. Honestly I don't mind the pass corruption of the city states makes things interesting, imaging getting off the wagon to Care-a-lot.
