some people just exist and get stalked, irl and in game, can you believe that? they might've smiled at them when they were in a store and bumped into each other, they might've used an emote, might've said a certain word in chat, that made the stalker interested in them for whatever reason
you don't have to say a peep about yourself to get stalked, please tell me you're trolling ffs
if someone repeats something for months and more and is very insistent about it, the majority of people, even your irl friends, will start to think that there might be some truth to it, even if it's just a tiny smidge, but they will, purely out of self-preservation, because why would someone go through all this effort to lie about someone, right?
Then what you should say to get fully stalked 24/7 on every dc/map/instance as your people says? can explain it or are you just trolling?.
I even know people that calls you a stalker for open their PUBLIC profile in game and look at their search info.

Just curious. Following your logic, those famous people (usually women), who have never met, interacted, or even knew their stalker existed before stalking them must have done something right? I could provide numerous cases where they have gotten restraining orders, and the person being stalked had exactly 0 interaction with the stalker. If you can follow that line of logic, it wouldn't be a far jump to have someone become that obsessed with someone in a game.
you don't have to say anything, that's the point, stalkers are mentally ill and don't need or have a logical reason for their behaviour, while you pretty much blame the person being stalked for some reason
speaking from personal experience, an acquaintance of mine was stalked for years by someone they played against once in a game. they didn't say anything to them, they didn't do anything to them and yet, that player decided that they would stalk, doxx, harass family members and their employers, not to mention spreading lies in communities they were a part of and the stalker got into
you can quite literally look up other people's experiences with being stalked if you google it and you'll see that in 90% of those cases, the person being stalked did nothing to the stalker

My SO has been essentially stalked for two years by a stranger because they didn't like the way she rendered a certain FFXIV character in a piece of fanart. There are just some severely mentally ill people out there that are willing to do some very harmful things.
