AF less than a few hours...

Op let me sing you a tale about a brd and a war trying to get the af fron cutter cry.. And failing miserably ..over and over. I stayed up las night about 2hrs and finally had to give up to try again today.. But as of yesteday before i wnet to sleep there was no brd or war with full af set . that ant fight is hard

You just have to get the BLM to time things right.

I know. Its because you dont kill them fast enough. They should be half hp after spawn then dead by time they reach mage pty.

The challenge is right where it needs to be.
We fought tooth and nail to win the final Dragoon fight. We earned the win.
Will it get easier now that we know a strategy, well of course it will. Just like anything gets easier with practice and proper information.

That DRG fight took us HOURS to figure out... and think about it. Everyone who went out last night to get gear was already 50.

If we hadn't been it would have been ok Unlock and do first part... ok go 5 levels. Ok unlock and do next part, ok another 5 levels... etc etc until 50 and full AF.

Even thought we did it straight it took us a good, I don't know, 6 hours from 'gather together' to 'OMG THAT DRG SUCKS BUT WE WON' happiness.

Plus there are still some having issues with some fights, I think it's good where it is.

If AF was the premier equipment of this patch, then your complaint would have merit.

However, most of the AF is really just a stepping stone for things to come. It's not even like it's a walk in the park. DRG is one of the easier sets to get as well. Try doing one of the harder job quest lines and then complain -_-.

I like the difficulty and I like the quest chain as a whole. Felt like an actual adventure to me, riding around and searching for hidden treasure.

Doesn't mean much when we're all 8-grouping with 50s. Seems pretty reasonable from starting 30-50, new person prolly wouldn't have the random teles and be taking the long way too.

The new AF quest lines are cool and difficult towards the end, but it can't be denied that they are short. Whether or not the last comment is relevant or not is entirely depending on the other content given this patch. If we have people wandering around with nothing to work towards in a few weeks then that means the patch was a bust.

Games are boring with nothing to do; content takes time to develop. Gotta make it last longer one way or another.
