No, I am talking about NPC Hairstyles that comes with outfit such as Y'shitor and Minfilia, etc. from Mog Station
Each NPC outfit usually comes with that character's hairstyle.
These are directly rip off NPC model and put on PC.
I am pretty sure only 1 released after Viera/Hrothgar.
By the time we are getting Omega, they don't even gives us Omega's hairstyle
This pretty much makes that other thread of requesting NPC hairstyle pointless since there is no way they are making NPC hairstyles apply to Viera and Hrothgar.

From Omega and 2B feed, I can tell they didn't create alternative models but simply replace PC's part with NPC's part.
That is why you can't recolor it.
Try to have your female Viera equip 2b feet and you can see your entire body proportion is not scaled. (2b feet is too thin for a taller race like Viera and Elvaan)

Many feet items have completely "off" proportions, that's because they don't scale specific parts of an item to a specific race.

Best example is the Plaguebringer shoes. They are TINY on any race... on males it really looks like they chopped your feet in half. However they look pretty okay on a Lalafell that already has tiny feet to begin with.
