How difficult is it to just change the coding and put the normal Garo gear into MGP vendor?

Actually, based on the licensing restrictions, it can't. Otherwise it already would have been. The way licensing works is you can only release it within that time frame, any new releasing of the items violates the terms of the license, and can get them sued if word got out.

Sounds like you must be really excited for the upcoming Series/Battle Pass like system that they'll be adding in 6.1. Especially since it looks to be entirely based around participating in any PvP mode.
OT: Bringing the GARO event back would be cool, even though I've already obtained everything from it. However, it'll almost entirely depend on TV Tokyo renewing the licensing.

If they bring back Garo I rather they brought it back as a crossover raid or something. Something more based on the show than just some PVP cosmetics.

Well when there are events that encourage people to PvP que times are shorter, that means you get to PvP more. Garo encouraged people to win more so than Moogle events.

There is one active thread under PvP forum literally complaining about he need to win Frontline in order to get the gear he wants.

I didn't see the topic, but you didn't need to win for gear. It was sold for Wolf Marks. Of course winning would make it faster. The good news is if people only want the gear they won't be playing as much as those who want the mounts.

It being undyable effectively makes it useless

The Gold Saucer version does have some benefit as you can equip it at level 1 instead of 60. And the gear does look good in its original colour scheme.

my take is they should bring it back but not the old version of the event. basically new event but this time featuring most if not all the garo armor, not just from the first show (i want the anime version)

would be nice if it not pvp style token too, just give me the usual event

but yeah SE might welcome it but the garo studio has the final approval in the end, so if they dont want it, SE cant say much.

I don't expect anything new out of a return event – maybe weapons for the newer jobs, but otherwise the same as it was.

Personally I'm only interested in the Makai outfits. The armour sets are bulky and ugly.

the garo armor (clothes) for the samurai is the one i fancy, and i still use it until now for my samurai and monk, it look so badass

Also it would be nice if they bring back the gear with unisex headdress... I want that butterfly hairpin as DNC glamour
