    There is a confirmation and it makes very clear that you lose everything on a retainer if you release it before retrieving the stuff on it.

    Would make more sense to not allow you to do it at all though.

    I hope you can be assisted... though my partner repaired a U/U gear for 999,999 gil when that was the price on accident and he has not received assistance for it (though they changed it)
