Kinda funny honestly, since learning/practice groups usually end up clearing more often than clear parties themselves. lol A lot of the time, at least on Crystal, "clear party, know the fight" means they are asking for a carry basically.

That is usually the case with p1s. p2s is where the people that got carried really show themselves with reclears getting stuck at limitcut.

I admit, I don't often go out to events anyway. Between my social anxiety and also the fact many RPers on Crystal can be... off - to say the least - it just isn't something appealing unless I can grab a friend/FC mate or three to go with me.

That said, even if I tend to keep to my FC for RP, it's still incredibly tiring to see the same three club venues taking up a whole chunk of the Other category with 5~6 ads per place. It drowns out actual venues, not to mention any other sort of advertisements (for items or gathering, people buying tomes, etc.) and FC recruitment posts. Which, I'm sure is the reason why they're spammed so badly - so that their venue is the only one people can really see immediately.

Though frankly? Even if I was the sort to just go out whenever, I'd heavily avoid clubs that feel the need to spam themselves to such a degree. Usually means the place isn't worth going to begin with, and they're desperate for people. And also usually aren't really 'roleplaying' so much as a cringe IMVU-esque chatroom with people trying to solicit for cyber.

Pretty sure they can be reported, but I'm not 100% certain.

thats just lies plain and simple. I know quite a few people that have cleared high end things with PF. are there a lot of RP'ers, yes. but there are also many that know what they are doing and maybe they wouldnt let you play with them, I kdont know, but Crystal is hardly the train wreck its reputed to be.

I'm pretty sure it counts as spam. They snuff out any and all paid-carry stuff, so it's safe to assume they want the PF to strictly be for finding parties.

its all the exact same advert from multiple "players" for exactly the same thing.

sure, you could loosely say it isnt spam.. but I suspect that its same user, multiple alts, which is spam

Even if it's simply individual members of a Free Company, posting the exact same copy-pasted advertisement multiple times to the point it drowns out other listings surely counts as spam.

I'm an RPer, so unfortunately, most of what I look for is in the 'Other' category, technically.

I use the PF a lot on Crystal, I don't even see the clubs because I know how to use the tabs to find what I'm looking for.

By that same logic Savage in pf is also spam because it's the same thing.
When I think of spam I think of the same person spamming the same thing over and over again, not individuals all happening to be looking for or saying the same thing.

If it's the same FC I'd say it's spam but not if it's different FC's.
The same way it'd be spam if the same static had multiple members making multiple advertisements in pf for the same static.
