Wow... I wish something like that would happen lol. There would be a call to arms from the player base to attack the invader. Would add spice to the average day of standing around in Lawl Dah contemplating suicide.Unfortunately, they need to make enemies reset in open world or else you run into MPKing or people kiting world bosses into cities (ie Lord Kazzak rampages through Stormwind and server resets ensue).

LOL, actually, that would be pretty awesome.
However, uncontrolled events like this can cause complete chaos and make GMs very cranky. You see, Lord Kazzak had an enrage timer, after which he pretty much became invulnerable. And no leash. So once he got into the city and began obliterating everyone, he couldn't be killed and he wouldn't leave. So they had to do a server rollback. Plus, when word got out this happened, all the servers were suddenly trying it. It was like an epidemic of mass destruction. The previous video I linked showcases the kiting leadup more than the actual event.
This one much better displays the carnage.
Lord Kazzak was eventually taken out of the old world and moved to the Outlands, where he could no longer lay waste to the city.

This all reminds me of that time someone somehow glitched Vrtra and caused it to go over to Sandoria.....LOL, actually, that would be pretty awesome.

Wow lol, if they tempered it so it didn't have a rage timer and would bugger off after so long it could be a lot of fun. Never knew about this stuff (didn't play WoW) so it was interesting to see.LOL, actually, that would be pretty awesome.

NMs/HNMs are exempt, this was also back in 2004ish long before that change. It was hilarious as shit when it left the tomb and was chomping down newbies who knew no better.

LOL, that would have been priceless.
~ One day in tranquil East Ronfaure ~
Lowbies are adventuring. Making the world safe from goblin fishers. Besting Swamfisk.
Then, suddenly...
"Oh, WOW, look at that dragon!"
RAWR. Face eaten.
