Also, to clarify from your first reply, was I to "Restore Game Data" or "Reset System Settings" in the launcher settings? I did the restore game data option but not the reset.

my bad, the driver i provided only has Kepler GPU's in it and the studio equivalent only supports 10 series and up.

Your choices are between 511.23 and 472.12

My game's working now! It seemed to be a driver issue, I downloaded the GeForce Experience and did some updates there, downloaded more updates following this post:

and re-installed the game.

Not sure how the game used to be able to run if my drivers have always been outdated, but I'm just glad things worked out. Thanks for all your help!
