No new GC Ranks with 1.21?

First off, let me say that I went through the entire patchnotes for 1.21 and am very happy with what I see... With one exception.

Where are the new Grand Company ranks? I was really looking forward to using all those seals I've been grinding since reaching Sergeant... Will we really not have any more ranks for the next couple of months?

Just wondering if there is a possibility of them being implemented in a 1.21a or if we'll have to wait until 1.22, because if that is the case and I can easily see myself and others reaching the 30k seals cap and have nothing else to spend them on.

if they added more ranks every patch, theyd eventualy be way overdoing it

we got companys when, 1.18?
1.19 we had no update on ranks
then we got it again in 1.20


so 2 patches between them last time, no reason to expect them every time

We had way less means of getting seals (and less time inbetween those patches as well). I'm not saying they should add 3 or 4 ranks at a time, but one rank that was fairly expensive to achieve would be nice. At the very least we would have something to grind towards.

They added more reasons to grind for seals and reach the current rank cap in 1.21. There is no reason to add new ranks just yet.

i have 28k seals saved just in case we had new ranks

all this means is i still have them for later when they increase the ranks instead

I'd be more excited if you actually earned the ranks rather than buy em, so I'm actually glad they didn't add more ranks yet lol.
