Then why did you not stick to that ? There was no need to throw any shade at people that used to play WoW that came to enjoy FF14 just because you experienced a tiny fragment of players that were shitty in your duty/roulettes .
I personally don't care if the tank chain pulls or not. I prefer chain pulls but it doesn't ruin my day if it doesn't happen. I just want to complete content without any mishaps or drama. I'm easy to please.
However...if you want to do content in a very specific way then make your own group. Not wanting to do any sort of pull aside from single pulls is a specific way of doing content. On the days when I want to do content super fast I don't expect a bunch of random people to fulfil my desires. I make my own group to ensure I get the experience I want.
That bad element is not just in WoW, they are here too. Don't let your guard down and protect your information while online. There's a reason why there's a mod to just remove people from existence in the game.
Because WoW is a bad game with a toxic community, I mean, DPS parsing is banned here because it causes that toxicity. I played the game for almost 8 years and I can give my personal opinion, which is that I found the community to be on par with League of Legends in terms of toxicity, ruled over by a company that has no moral standards. At least Blizzard are finally getting their reckoning now.
A lot of the big WoW players and Streamers acted so "surprised" when the allegations came out big time, but a lot of this was widely reported as far back as 2015 (since I quit the game) by Kotaku. Ergo... people ignored Blizzard's behaviour until it became too big a problem to ignore.
Nobody did anything... until it was too late because nobody wanted to upset the gravy train. I find that disgusting if I'm honest.

I'm aware, fortunately here they take the reports seriously.
Not me silly, the dev team, my suggestion to all new players, and looking at your sheet, it's painfully obvious you are new around here. All I have to do is look your character up, and see your job levels, and minion & mounts to see that you are new. Which is cool.
First bit of advice, make use of the screenshot tool, both for self and if you need proof of a report. Second, find the Report Button, and place it on a hotbar. If you use a PC also copy and past the chat box info when someone breaks the rules. When I see Bigotry and racism, and it has happened a few times over the last 7 years I've played here, just copy the text, and paste it right into the report box where it asks for info. Easy pessy. Usually they confirm the submissions in 30-45 minutes, worst case it was on a Monday when I made the report on a late Friday. Square has always been good at responding to bad behavior. (Hells I've been Silenced more than once on these forums, Titanmen can just piss me off sometimes. It kind of annoys me that the forums don't silence the homophobes though.)

Any game with a huge player count will have its fair share of a-holes . If the player counts continue to rise , it will happen here too . Its got nothing to do with WoW , or whatever game they came fromBecause WoW is a bad game with a toxic community, I mean, DPS parsing is banned here because it causes that toxicity. When FF14 1.0/2.0 was new we were all ex ff11 , GW1/2 , WoW , SWTOR players. Where players came from doesnt mean squat . Its a mulitplayer game with casual rules , casual gameplay , and minimal moderation , ff14 isnt immune from shitty behaviour either , and it will change if they were ever to get close into WOW sub count territory
All popular games had there moments when new and went to shit when player counts skyrocketed
So you ran into some bad eggs who called you nasty names. Seems like you're extrapolating from this and using the very convenient toxic WOW player boogeyman to blame an entire community. As others have said before, dungeons are a collaborative effort. If the other players aren't willing to accommodate you - just leave. You don't have to grit your teeth, moaning about the toxic players under your breath while willfully suffering in the dungeon. Take the penalty (and you have 3 strikes, I find it hard to believe that all 3 attempts will be a failure) and try again. But at the end of the day, understand that single pulling will always be less efficient (and frowned upon) compared to wall to wall pulls. Perhaps you should try running trusts instead if you want to go at your own pace, the NPCs certainly won't mind.
Just be a Warrior.
Smash everything and go fast while out healing the healer.
Not really, just not supported, nor accepted.
All of the raider players use parsers, SE can't really do anything about it, and they can't break laws to suit the enablers.
As far as I know, its a bannable offense and I think SE should crack down on this behaviour considerably. There is a reason its banned and you shouldn't ignore rules just because you personally don't like them.
