Nobody uses the search function still?

I am trying to level up my Conjurer for the Paladin job. Anyway mostly been doing leves cause I don't really have any other way to level. Set my status to seeking party with a comment that I am looking for a exp party the whole time I been leveling the job and not a single invite. In my level range only 1 person was seeking party.

In FFXI if I were to seek on a whm or blm even now I would probably get a exp invite within the first 5 mins of seeking, since people seem to actively use the search.

What is it with people in FFXIV not using the party search feature? I can't really understand why people don't seem to use it.

There people that I invite from the Search Feature, I always invite them first before the shouting ones =)

Edit: nvm i thoug it was complicated because of the 2 buttons in the "party" section, but it has nothing to do with the flag up. (found it then)

I think its fantastic that everyone hated the original search...because it was trash.
So they gave us one that was actually useful and we don't use it.

Probably the best option would be to just have a simple "Flag up" seek party system similar to have XI had, its fast, easy to use and easy to learn for newcommers.

I mean its just 1 click to flag yourself, then if you want to you have option to add a comment etc.

This game is chock full of unmotivated players who probably find it a chore to sit and type, "(Lancer) Lv35 (Do you need
it?)". Good luck! Most times you'll need it.
