    Suggestion: City Linkpearls

It'd be really helpful and great if they could add a chat channel for each city.

People are always /shouting in Ul'dah for parties and the like, but I end up missing it a lot because I have to go into the market wards to access my retainers (since they're both selling things) so I end up synthing in the wards and missing the /shouts. Also, with the private inn rooms now, more and more people will be in the cities but disconnected from the other players and their /shouts and stuff.

So how about when you enter a city, you automatically join the City Linkpearl which would be a chat channel anyone in the city can access for conversation, party recruiting, buying/selling, and so on. You could be in this channel even when you're in that city's inn or market wards, so the inefficient /shouting for groups won't be neccessary. I think by default this linkpearl would be on for everyone, but people could go into their configuration and turn it off if they want.

This might also make Gridania and Limsa seem less dead since the few players spread through the city could still chat with each other easily.

Could they add something like this?

Or just a /region chat tab.

I'd rather region chat, as it would lessen everyone gathering in Ul'dah so much.
